This page is about adopting animals from the pound and has links to animal rescue and related sites. It also contains the archives of the Pound Puppies Letters from a page which promoted animal rescue and pound puppy adoption which ran into a bit of a mess from the toy corporation Pound Puppies, Inc. and illustrates what people who have websites about animals or anything else may have to contend with.

The pictures were taken at the dog pound. Unfortunately, most of the dogs and cats worldwide in shelters that need homes will not find them. Over 60% will be put to death (euthenized). Hopefully,  we can encourage people to spay and neuter their pets to help prevent more unwanted animals. And, hopefully encourage more people to adopt these beautiful animals needing good homes!
